My chat client supports custom soundsets, and I found a Matrix-themed one for it that I really like. So I’ve been listening to various techo-electronic noises coming out of my computer as people sign on and sign off and IM me for the last couple months. I didn’t think about it, but I decided to watch the Matrix a few minutes ago and I took my computer into the living room with me. Let me tell you, hearing that sound an agent makes when it takes over someone’s body come from somewhere other than the TV while your watching the movie is freaky.
